This site has been created to provide an artistic outlet for the moore family. Photography is not just about buying an expensive camera and taking pictures, it is a passion and a way of life that aims to record our beautiful landscapes that are constantly under attack from never ending development and commerce that threaten to engulf us.

Art, Music and Theatre are all passions of this author. Life for me is a spiritual journey, as I see in the landscapes the hand of the creator and observe design for designs sake, a concept even die-hard evolutionists have difficulty with. It therefore follows that photography is an extension of this deep rooted appreciation of our surroundings.

Photography can become almost an obsession as one seeks that perfect light, precise composition, exact exposure, with each succeeding atttempt not quite reaching the perfection one desires, and neither should it. Nothing for me improves my photography more than membership of an enthusiastic camera club, for iron sharpens iron and club competition between members and inter-club battles all raise the standard.

Digital photography has if anything raised the bar with a vast new formerly un-tapped following of dedicated enthusiasts, discerning the joys of this captivating hobby, and in the process throwing out new challenges to us old-timers.

Digital Photography has transformed my own approach as the instant image appears on the monitor of my chosen camera- a D200, chosen because Nikon equipment is so familiar to me.

Having waxed lyrical over creation and the minutia to be found within, I offer further pictures of Utah and Arizona from our recent 2008 tour. I trust you the viewer will appreciate our efforts.
